Chow Chin Chuan was born in 1961 in Klang, Malaysia. He graduated with double diploma which is Diploma in Fine Art, Kuala Lumpur College of Art in 1982 and Diploma in Fine Figure Design, Kuala Lumpur College of Art in 1983. He become a full-time artist since 1986, he is now an active member of Malaysian Watercolour Society, Penang Watercolour Society and Singapore Watercolour Society. Besides, he is being a lecturer in The One Academy who lecturing watercolour painting.
Chow used to help his father at grocery shop when he was young and always use bicycle to transport goods. Then one day, he started to paint the bicycle while realize that a bunch of similar bicycle in Klang. Chow has painted bicycles for 30 years, especially those in fishing villages. He has held 11 solo exhibition since 2001 to 2019 and joined numerous group exhibition abroad in Indonesia, India, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Sweden. He was the recipient of Consolation Prize for the Sin Chew Press Cartoon Contest in 1989 and Minor Award at the Young Contemporaries, National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur in 1990.

Lim Kok Peng, become a full-time artist since 1995. His uses oil on canvas or watercolour on paper for his paintings. Soon Lai Wai
From buddhist practitioners perspective, lotus represent to purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth. Lotus root is in the mud of murky river water, however the flower bloom with clean petals, its characteristics are a perfect analogy for the human condition. Lotus is the trademark of Soon Lai Wai, this might the reason why he wanted to illustrate lotus.
Soon Lai Wai was born in 1970 in Penang, Malaysia. He is now based in Kuala Lumpur. Soon Lai Wai graduated with Diploma in Saito academy of Design College then started to worked as artist in local and oversea advertising company in 1992 to 1997, until 1997 he become a full time artist focus on produce artwork. Moreover, Soon Lai Wai studied Chinese painting for seven years before turning to oils and acrylics thereby combining them in his work. He has his first solo exhibition in 2004 at Balai lukis hall – NSTP daily newspaper KL.

Ting Cho Chien
Ting Cho Chien was born in 1970 in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. He studied diploma in Fine Art at Central Academy of Art, Malaysia in 1987. After he graduate, he worked at Art Trainer in 1990 to 1997 and become a full time artist. He was awarded the ‘Cornucopia of Malaysia Arts’ (Metropolitan Gallery of Fine-art) in 1996 and Pertandingan Karya Seni Kreatif Kebangsaan PNB in 1997.
The painting material he like to illustrate his drawing is watercolor, oil, acrylic on paper or canvas. “Batik” was his trademark and the favourite theme he illustrate. The details of the fabric, shadows of the flaws and the vivid color of the silk are one of the most challenging part in his artwork.

Amy Hashim is born in 1971 in Kota Bharu, Malaysia. She is an artist creating painting in both digital and traditional techniques. Amy usually produce the art works with oil painting on canvas or digital printing on scarf.

Lim Ah Cheng was born in Klang, Malaysia in 1968. He graduate with diploma in advertising & graphic design in 1992 at Malaysia Institute of Art, Kuala Lumpur. He worked in the advertisement industry over a couple years and become a full time artist until present. Besides, he learnt chinese calligraphy art with Mr Chong Chen Chuan, Chairman of Calligraphy. Lim Ah Cheng has been in art industry and drawing more than 30 years. He has his own first solo exhibition during the year 2002 with title “Challenging Horses” (1996-2002), at Elle Six Gallery, Kuala Lumpur.

Drawing style of Lim Ah Cheng is abstract art, horses is one of his favourite to illustrate using oil or acrylic on the canvas. Lim Ah Cheng usually do his paintings on big size canvas to show the spirit and boldness of the horses. His art is an assimilation of traditional East with the modern West, with the chinese calligraphy strokes and combination of oil and acrylics, musicians orchestra, dancers and street scenes also his theme to illustrate. “Horses run fast and show movement just like Chinese ink brushstrokes express speed. Therefore, I am trying to combine these two identities in my artworks, follow my soul and feeling, and strong Chinese art foundation skills.” said Lim.

Loo Hooi Nam
Loo Hooi Nam was born in Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia in 1965. He started his art journey and become an artist since 1985. Loo Hooi Nam is a self-taught artist and won art awards during 1993, 1994 , 1997 & 2001 in Gold Award in SP Setia Art Fair Penang and Recipient of Pesta Pulau Pinang Prizes . On top of that, he held his first solo exhibition in the Art gallery, Penang in 2000 and joined plenty of public/group exhibition throughout the years. With his great talent on arts, his artwork was been auction with realized prices ranging from $629 USD to $1,935 USD. Since 2015 the record price for this artist at auction is $1,935 USD for Indian Street-Penang, sold at Masterpiece Auction- Malaysia in 2018. Besides, he is an active member of Penang Art Society, Penang Watercolour Society and Central Kedah Art Society, Angkatan Pelukis Kedah, Malaysian Watercolour Society, North Kedah Art Society, Artist Membership BSLN.

Maamor Jantan
Maamor Jantan was born in 1961, Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia. He was a well known Modern & Contemporary artist and a musician. His artwork is focus on watercolour and his trademark icon — Cakcibor Series ( Dragon Flies ) in recent years. His portrayal of the ‘cakcibor’ with their delicate, transparent wings showed his intimate connection with Nature. “I wanted people to realize how fragile our life really is. At the same time I did not want them to destroy the environment and how urgent it is to protect our ecosystem,” the artist revealed. Wong Kean Choon was born in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia in 1942. He studied in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore in 1965. He has won several awards, including the Second Prize Winner of Art Competition held in conjunction with celebration of Ipoh City Status (1988), and One of the three Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumus Malaysia Exhibition Creative Award (1989).

Calvin Chua
Calvin Chua was born in Kedah, Malaysia in 1961. He is a Diploma holder who studied Fine Art at KLCA in 1982. Besides, he won Malaysian Young Contemporaries Award. He is also the President of “The Malaysian Watercolour Society“. This society organize a monthly plein air activity within Malaysia for public, the instructor and committee aim to promote watercolour to community and encourage more people do painting.
He had his solo exhibition in 2016 at Lobby Centre NSTP Kuala Lumpur and joined public exhibition since 1982 which total more than 100 exhibition in Korea, Japan, Singapore, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Sweden and France. Chiang Shih Wen
Chiang Shih Wen was born in Malacca, Malaysia in 1949. Fine Arts, was studied by him during 1974 at Kuala Lumpur College of Art. He has been creating arts for over 30 years since 1980’s and was well known in abstract cityscape and architectural paintings. His painting normally is with blue colour and a little of green, red and yellow colour which called “Juxtaposition”, an integration of light, colour and space to create layers.
Other than that, Chiang Shih Wen joined art exhibitions since 1979 and had his solo exhibition in 1991 at Galeri Citra, Kuala Lumpur. He had few masterpiece in our gallery.
