Calvin Chua
Calvin Chua was born in Kedah, Malaysia in 1961. He is a Diploma holder who studied Fine Art at KLCA in 1982. Besides, he won Malaysian Young Contemporaries Award. He is also the President of “The Malaysian Watercolour Society“. This society organize a monthly plein air activity within Malaysia for public, the instructor and committee aim to promote watercolour to community and encourage more people do painting.
He had his solo exhibition in 2016 at Lobby Centre NSTP Kuala Lumpur and joined public exhibition since 1982 which total more than 100 exhibition in Korea, Japan, Singapore, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Sweden and France. He focus using watercolour as medium in his art works, sometimes he will use acrylic or oil on canvas as well. In our art gallery, few of his masterpieces are ready for sale.
