Lim Kok Peng was born in 1975, Kedah, Malaysia. He graduated in Diploma of Fine Art from Central Academy of Art.
Lim Kok Peng, become a full-time artist since 1995. His uses oil on canvas or watercolour on paper for his paintings. Besides, his iconic and trademark are “bowls”, that is symbolise wealth in Chinese belief. Lim Kok Peng mainly express the beauty of the antique bowls with remarks of the fishes or roosters on bowls. His paintings had sold locally and internationally, multiple time in auction as well.
