Painting with thick oil on canvas, with hard and raw powerful stokes thats sometimes furnished with soft element is a trademark painting by Loo Hooi Nam, whom currently reside in Sungai Petani. Loo, has been exhibited in many countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Korea and Singapore. and won many awards including Gold Award in SP Setia Art Fair Penang in 2001, Recipient of Pesta Pulau Pinang Prizes in 1993, 1994 & 1997.
