Inspired by traditional Chinese porcelain and treasured household objects, these works transform familiar vessels—a teapot, covered jar and bowl—into colourful contemporary compositions. Intricate decorative patterns, expressive textures and auspicious 福 (fortune/blessing) and 壽 (longevity) motifs give each painting a strong sense of heritage and celebration.
Against rich gold and vibrant pink tones, the porcelain forms seem to glow. There is something nostalgic yet modern about the collection—objects that remind us of family homes, traditions and memories, reimagined through the artist’s distinctive visual language.
