Malaysian artist Yong Look Lam was born in Klang in 1962. He graduated from the Kuala Lumpur College of Art with a Diploma in Fine Art in 1982, followed by a Diploma in Watercolour in 1983. A founding member of the Malaysian Watercolour Society, he is recognised for paintings inspired by Malaysian villages, heritage architecture and the relationship between people and their surroundings.
