Born in Johor in 1968, Azman Hilmi is a Malaysian contemporary artist who studied Art Education and Fine Art at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). His works often explore nature, flowers, landscapes and personal memories through expressive colour and energetic mark-making.
Painting captures two radiant sunflowers rising confidently from a flourishing, untamed garden. Their brilliant yellow petals and patterned centres form the main focal points, symbolising happiness, optimism, vitality and the courage to always turn towards the light.
