This vibrant painting by Malaysian artist Ung Mooi Leng brings together two contrasting faces of Kuala Lumpur. Traditional village houses sit peacefully among lush tropical greenery, while the Petronas Twin Towers rise proudly in the background—symbolising the city’s journey from its humble roots towards modern progress.
Rich blues, fresh greens and warm golden tones give the composition a joyful energy. Through expressive lines, layered colours and lively textures, the artist transforms a familiar cityscape into a celebration of Malaysian identity. The painting reminds us that even as the city continues to grow, its cultural memories and traditional way of life remain an important part of its story.
Collectors are warmly invited to visit us and experience the colours, details and textures of this painting in person.
