How to frame a canvas paintings ?

Some artists prefer an unframed look, especially with thick, gallery-wrapped canvases where the edges are painted.

Stretching only – 20mm & 45mm thickness

Floater Frame (Recommended for Modern Look) – This frame allows a small / big gap between the canvas and the frame, creating a “floating” effect.

Reduces direct contact between the frame and the artwork, preventing damage over time.

double gap concept : refer to two distinct gaps or spaces are intentionally left between the artwork (such as a canvas painting) and the frame. This technique is commonly used to create a floating, layered, and more dimensional effect

canvas framing with Border & Gap Concept : Framing a canvas using the border & gap concept combines both a visible border around the painting and a gap (floating space) between the canvas and the frame.

This method enhances the artwork’s presence and creates a sense of depth.
