Yong Look Lam is a watercolor artist from Malaysia. He was born in 1962, Klang. He graduated in 1982 with a Diploma in Fine Art from the Kuala Lumpur College of Art and a year later he completed his Diploma in Watercolor.
His works are drawn outline the relationship between people and nature. His is specially noted for his cityscape paintings and village watercolor paintings. He is fond of traveling through his experiences in travelling around and observing the architectural wonders of the heritage of the towns and cities is always a trademark of Yong’s painting and this interest gave him experiences to paint new subjects.
Semporna series is a famous series painted by Yong’s with water color on paper, that fully express daily routine of the people whom staying above sea water.
