Compared with a 100% cotton rag paper, FineArt Textured Silk has a slightly lighter and more flexible structure. Its warm base and high contrast make it an attractive choice for expressive portraiture and photographic work, while heavier cotton papers may be preferred when a stronger traditional watercolour or cotton-paper character is required.
Fine-art print surfaces are more delicate than regular glossy or resin-coated photographic papers. Prints should be handled by their edges or with clean cotton gloves, kept away from moisture and stored with protective interleaving paper.
