Born Penang
Loo Ley See (卢丽诗) is a Malaysian artist from Penang whose artistic journey is shaped by sensitivity, imagination and a deep connection with the world around her. Working primarily in acrylic and oil, she has also explored watercolour, mixed media, mosaic and Chinese ink, allowing her creative expression to move freely across different materials and techniques.
Her works often draw inspiration from people, flowers, animals and the natural world. Yet beyond their visual beauty, these familiar subjects frequently carry deeper emotional and symbolic meanings. Through gentle compositions, expressive colours and thoughtful imagery, Loo creates works that evoke feelings of harmony, tranquillity, hope and personal reflection.
For collectors, Loo Ley See’s paintings offer a combination of visual beauty, gentle storytelling and emotional depth. Her works can bring warmth and character into a living space while offering something more enduring—a quiet invitation to pause, reflect and reconnect with the beauty of life and nature.
