BORN 1948, KEDAH.
Dato Sharifah received her early education in Alor Setar. After that, she continuos her study at Mara Institute of Technology ( ITM ) in 1967 major in fine arts. She further her studies to Reading University , England 1973. She is prominent abstract artist in Malaysia during 70’s.
” Inner Space ” is one of the famous series painted by Dato Sharifah. Innerspace created by colorful transparencies overlapping. Each form depict both positive & negative space, with dark & light colors , contrasting & harmony , strong & powerful strokes.
