
Alex Leong, born in 1969 in Penang, Malaysia, is a distinguished watercolor artist celebrated for his intricate depictions of Malaysian street scenes and cultural heritage. His artworks vividly portray the daily life and architecture of Penang and other Malaysian locales, capturing the essence of local traditions and communal activities.
Leong’s paintings are renowned for their detailed and vibrant portrayals of urban landscapes, traditional trades, and festive celebrations.
