Chiang Shih Wen was born in 1949 in Malacca. He received a degree in Fine Art from the KL Collage of Art in 1974. Context in Chiang’s painting is based on Batu caves scape but he features colors and airy of landscapes in his paintings. His paintings create diverse views to observe a historical and a tourist city that bring viewers’ attention back to the basic to appreciate peace and pleasure with ordinary life in Batu caves.
